Linking PIV Account

On May 6, 2024 PrepToolkit went through an upgrade to authentication. Upon first sign-in PIV users will need to link their account. Please follow the steps below. This is a one time action and only applies to users that already had accounts prior to May 6, 2024.

  1. Click Sign In and then select the FEMA PIV badge image.

  2. A message will display indicating if the account already exists. Users who’s account already exists must select Add to existing account.

  3. A confirmation token will be emailed to the user’s existing email address that was imported during the upgrade. A message will be displayed on the screen with specific instructions. A sample email that users will receive is provided below. Follow instructions in the received email. You must confirm the link received in the email within 10 minutes.
